BEST-SELLING HORROR AUTHOR PAULA D. ASHE TO VISIT ACPL

The Allen County Public Library will welcome local horror author Paula D. Ashe on Wednesday, January 25. Ashe will share tips and tricks for writing a great story as she talks about crafting her book of short stories, ‘We are Here to Hurt Each Other.’

From the publisher:

With these twelve stories Paula D. Ashe takes you into a dark and bloody world where nothing is sacred and no one is safe. A landscape of urban decay and human degradation, this collection finds the psychic pressure points of us all, and giddily squeezes. Try to run, try to hide, but there is no escape: we are here to hurt each other. – Nictitating Books, 2022.

Ashe is a writer of dark fiction. In addition to her work as an educator and DEI specialist, Ashe is an Associate Editor for Vastarien: A Literary Journal. “We are Here to Hurt Each Other” was released in February 2022 from Nictitating Books, and quickly became an Amazon bestseller in African American Horror. A book sale will be held prior to the talk with an additional sale and book signing following the main event.
