2024 COMMUNITY
IMPACT REPORT
A Message from the Executive Director
In 2024, the Allen County Public Library enjoyed another successful year serving as an accessible and dynamic resource for all. In fact, our patrons visited more than 1.7 million times. Let me put that in context: if we invited each visitor to a TinCaps game, the team would have to play 209 sold out games just to accommodate our patrons!
Our vast collection, digital tools, engaging programs, and safe, welcoming spaces, are mainstays in this community. I want to thank you for your continued use and support.
Never was that more evident than earlier this winter when we secured the critical funding needed for the first phase of our Facilities Master Plan.
This investment will allow our system to meet the demands of today and the growing needs of tomorrow. We could not have done it without you! I invite you to follow the progress on the plan at youracpl.org.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the future of the Allen County Public Library. We will continue to strengthen the foundation we’ve built, creating an even more resilient, vibrant, and connected community for years to come.

I just love the libraries, period! But the people are what make it special – so kind, so helpful and usually help is given with a smile as if they are glad to see you! Large variety of anything you might want to read or watch.”
