The Story Behind the Branch

The New Haven Branch, built at its new location in 2003, is a medium sized branch just east of New Haven’s principal downtown area. Inside you’ll find a friendly and welcoming staff, wooden ceiling details, over 41,000 materials and a glass case with a variety of rotating displays and interactives. The first thing most people notice are our cathedral ceilings, often times they ask if there’s a second floor. One of the first branches to host a board game collection, we now have one of the biggest if not the biggest collection in the entire system. Whether it be a quiet corner, room to work, or a place to learn, play and grow, we’ve got something for everyone at the New Haven Branch. And we’re only a 10-minute drive from downtown Fort Wayne, a literal straight shot along E Jefferson Blvd, come visit us sometime. I’m sure we’ll get to know your name in no time.
